To stay healthy, adults aged between 19 and 64 should aim to do:
- at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity such as cycling or fast walking every week, in bouts of 10 minutes or more – one way to approach this is to do 30 minutes on at least 5 days a week
- strength exercises on two or more days a week that work all the major muscles (legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms)
